SOUND DESIGN

It's now quite a common practice to add sounds in post-production in order to add depth to a scene. Done through the use of foley and ambient 'noise' during the filming process the audio is often recorded in mono to capture dialogue only. Though, even dialogue is now replaced with studio-recorded audio in the post-production phase.
